Illustrated Wildlife Art Print FAQs
Help, I need a quick gift!
Wildlife art prints make the perfect gift for new homes, birthdays and Christmas. I typically send most orders in 1-3 days, with standard delivery sent in 48 hours tracked, and express orders are prioritised and sent in 24 hours tracked.
If you are worried about your order arriving in time, feel free to drop me an email and I can let you know if it is possible and bump it to the front of the line.
Your art prints can also be sent directly to the receiver, and I can include a note or fill out any cards you add to the order. Art prints make a perfect letterbox gift.
Can I commission a wildlife art print?
I am always open to commissions, and you can read more about past projects on my commissions page.
That being said, as I have a busy schedule, I do not take on smaller projects anymore, so I mostly work with larger budgets.
Do you use AI to create your wildlife illustrations?
Hell no! All of my products have been drawn by me, Ferne. I draw straight onto my iPad with an apple pencil and use Procreate to sketch just like I would on paper – just without the mess and freedom to stop and start projects.
Any compositions like on my art prints are created by combining many of my illustrations together on InDesign – where I also make all my packaging and other products.
I do not condone using AI to generate artwork ever, and everything on Ferne Creative is made by a creative human - me!
Will my wildlife print fit a standard-sized frame?
Yes, all prints on my website include the sizes A3 and A4, which are standard frames to 210mm, 297mm and 402mm square sizes. If you struggle to find a frame for any of these sizes, I do advise getting a mount and then getting a frame you like that fits the mount.
Is your artwork copyrighted?
Yes, all my illustrations and prints are subject to copyright, and I retain the copyright for all of my artwork even if you buy a print. I never sell my copyright, and you may never reproduce my work.
It is a crime to reproduce or replicate my work, including using AI to make close imitations.
Do you accept refunds and returns on art prints?
Yes, all my refund and return information can be found in my refund policy
Can I purchase my wildlife art print mounted or framed?
I do not currently offer a framing service for my prints, so all wildlife prints are sent unframed and unmounted. I do highly recommend mounting your prints, as I personally think it elevates the prints.
I personally recommend Bampton Framing for frames and mounts, which I use for my own home.
How will my wildlife art print arrive?
All illustrated prints arrive flat in a biodegradable cello, backed on a hard greyboard so they stay flat and protected during transport, and are perfect for gifting. These are then put into paper bags and shipped in letterbox cardboard boxes.
This does not include 406x406 mm prints, which are too large to ship in this way. These larger wildlife prints are rolled and sent in tubes, so you need to unroll these and flatten them before framing.
