This Great Crested Newt (Triturus cristatus) vinyl sticker features an illustration of a breeding male newt with its wavy crest and orange belly. Males perform courtship displays by standing on their front legs, arching their backs and waving their tails around to attract females.

Like other amphibians, great crested newts breed in ponds during the spring but spend the majority of the year in woodlands, hedgerows, marshes and tussocky grasslands where they feed on invertebrates.
