How Strolling Through Woods (and Seeing the World) Fuels My Wildlife Illustrations
Nature sneaks into everything I do. Most weekends, my partner and I escape to the quiet of woodlands, listening to birds, rescuing beetles from the path, and letting ideas for future projects float around. These little retreats fuel my creativity and spark inspiration for my wildlife illustrations and nature-inspired artwork.
I’ve been lucky enough to explore some incredible places – from following winding rivers through the Borneo Rainforest to freezing my hands off in Iceland, staring up at the stars and the Northern Lights. Moments like these don’t just inspire my illustrations; they remind me why I do what I do. And the best part? Creating art often gives me the chance to travel even further, discovering more wild corners of the world to bring back to my nature illustrations.
