The Razorbill (Alca torda) is a medium auk species that breeds on cliffside colonies around the UK with other seabirds. They favor lower ledges and the rocky bottoms and spend the rest of the year at sea. They have a sharp, hatchet-shaped beak they use to catch fish by swimming underwater and diving from the water surface.

This enamel pin captures the Razorbill with the white lines that extend all the way to the eyes and its large, razor-like beak with its flash of iconic yellow pallet.
