A regular bird in most habitats the rock dove is the ancestor of domesticated pigeons. They are technically the same species as the feral pigeon and come in a variety of colours and markings but the true rock dove colours feature the striped wing bars. This decoration features a pigeon with the rock dove pattern, but it's impossible to know if you are looking at a true rock dove by sight.
