The Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius) is one of the most colourful members of the crow family and a familiar sight and sound in mature woodlands across the UK. Known for its soft pinkish-brown feathers, bright blue wing flashes, and loud calls, the Jay plays an important role in forest ecology, particularly as a natural forester, caching acorns that help new oak trees grow.

This Flying Jay enamel pin captures the bird with wings outstretched, showcasing its striking blue and white wing markings with striped details screen printed. Each bird pin is illustrated and designed by me for fellow bird lovers and wildlife enamel pin collectors. 

Each Eurasian Jay pin is 30mm in size with a metal clasp and comes attached to a illustrated backing card, featuring oak leaves.
