Bring a touch of the exotic to your home with this wooden hanging decoration featuring the striking Zygopetalum maculatum orchid. Known for its intricate spotted petals and deep, rich tones of green, purple, and burgundy, this orchid is prized for both its dramatic appearance and its sweet, distinctive fragrance.

This illustration was originally created for a collaborative RHS Show Garden at the Malvern Spring Show, developed in partnership with Sprouts of Bristol. The design was part of a botanical installation that celebrated the diversity and elegance of tropical plant life.

Laser-cut from sustainably sourced birch plywood, this lightweight yet detailed ornament is perfect for festive trees, indoor displays, or as a thoughtful gift for orchid lovers. The reverse includes a brief note about the Zygopetalum’s unique floral characteristics and its place in cultivated orchid collections. A beautiful keepsake for plant enthusiasts and admirers of floral design.
